Herald the Rescuer

It can be hard to find your place in the world, especially if you are a bloodhound puppy. Take it
from Herald; it was not easy leaving his birthplace of Kansas and traveling by airplane to the
unknown world of Idaho. Yet this is just the start of Herald's story in the new children's fiction

puppy, Herald is destined for big things, but he first has to go through some trying, uncertain
times in airports, airplanes and a pet store. Will anyone take a chance on this little doggie? With

A lifelong lover and protector of animals, Trish Callies, her husband Randal and daughter Randii, adopted their first AKC (American Kennel Club) bloodhound when their daughter Randi was born-more than 20 years ago.
