The herbal medicine is also known as "Botanical Treatment" or 'phytomedicine'.Herbal medication refers to the use of any parts of bark, leaves, fruits, seeds, or flowers for medicinal purposes. The handwash is formulated to defend against the microbes that are (silent warriors). Herbal preparations called "Phytopharmaceuticals", "Phytomedicinal" or "Phytomedicine", are preparations made from different parts of herbs or plants. They come in different formulations and dosage forms including tablets, capsules, elixirs, powder, extract, tincture, cream, and parenteral preparations. The name 'herbal', suggests the product is free from chemicals and is synthetic. They are in great demand in developed as well as developing countries for primary healthcare because of their wide biological activities, higher safety margins, and lower costs. The most commonly missed areas are the thumb, the wrist, the areas between the fingers, and the under fingernails. Artificial nails and chipped nail polish may harbor microorganisms, so washing hands is of utmost significance. Each year on OCT,15 the CDC (Centre for Disease Control and Prevention) observes "GLOBAL HANDWASHING DAY" to remind people, the importance of cleanliness.
