When Stale Solbakken was announced as the new manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers in May 2012, the news stunned Wolves fans and players alike. The former Norwegian international lead FC Copenhagen to five Danish titles and Champions League football. His success earned him a move to the Bundesliga with Cologne but he was sacked after just eleven months - and has since stated 'a combination of Jesus and Jose Mourinho would have struggled with the in-fighting.' After three-years in the Premier League, Wolves are starting the 2012/13 season in the Championship and fans hope their new man can guide them out of the notoriously difficult league.
