High School Basketball

There are many factors included in being a head coach, most of them are not taught.Most coaches want to jump in and have dreams of how they will instruct their players, engage in game competition, and work towards representing their program in a winning fashion. The fact remains, there are aspects of their new employment, they never take into consideration when accepting the job. A major key to designing a basketball program is for a new coach to understand how to create a program for their school. There is more to coaching than running practices and games: dealing with parents, administration, disciplining players, researching resources to help a coach grow in their discipline...all of which former Coach Banks explores inside the novel.Joshua Banks has been a high school English teacher for over 20 years. He graduated from University of Missouri at St. Louis after accepting a baseball scholarship to play for the UMSL Rivermen. During this time he became a 2-Time All-American baseball player and graduated with a BA in Science. He furthered his education by getting a MA in Science at Walden University. Later, he moved to the Missouri area and started coaching in 2007.
