The Urdu short-story or "afsana," holds a significant place in Urdu prose genres. Throughout history, short stories have been a part of every age group, nation, and tribe. Tabassum Fatima has been a versatile and active personality as a poet, fiction writer, critic, journalist, translator and filmmaker. She has somehow highlighted the helpless, oppressed, exploited and psychologically crushed women around the society in her writings. This book contains three of her memorable short-stories.
