Hippie Hippopotamus is about Hippie, a hippopotamus that has a garden and learns the value of growing her own food eating healthy. She also learns about the beauty of flowers and the process of how things grow in the dirt. She grows lots of berries, pumpkins, tomatoes, flowers, and even evergreen trees for Christmas. Her friends-a hummingbird, a bumblebee, a bluebird, and a frog-help her and add to her beauty.
