Serge R. Pospelov, born in the USSR, graduated Artillery Engineering School and later Artillery Academy, served in Soviet and Russian Armies. Upon his disallusionment with Russia he attempted to leave the country what lead to his arrest and imprisonment. After his realease, being under FSB surveilance he made a daring escape to Canada through Belarus and Poland.
