History of Southern Africa, a 2nd. Edition

It covers Southern Africa section of the Cambridge Overseas Syllabus. It describes extensively the pre-colonial societies of Southern Africa: from the earliest peoples through to modern times. It includes a detailed survey of African reaction to the extension of European control: from early resistance through to the nationalism of the twentieth century.
