Twenty-eight years after A History of the Worshipful Company of Scriveners of London by Francis Steer was published, this new book now brings the story of the Company very firmly up-to-date. The authors, both with a wealth of relevant experience, have, to quote their own words, 'been looking to colour the history with the stuff of human relationships'.
