When life brought us to our knees, we thought we had lost everything. For nine months, my husband, mother, cat, and I lived out of our car, drifting between garages and the rare nights in BnBs when we could afford them. We were homeless, but what hurt even more was the harsh realities surrounding doors metaphorically closing in our faces. Our world was turned upside down, and all the dreams we had built came crumbling down.

But this memoir isn't just about the struggle-it's about the strength we found when there seemed to be no way out. Homeless but not Hopeless is my deeply personal account of what it means to survive rock bottom and face the harsh realities of homelessness. It's a story of resilience. Through it all, we held onto one thing: hope.
