It's 1957, and thirteen-year-old Jimmy dreams of homesteading a piece of land just like he's seen the pioneers do on his favorite TV show. As soon as he finds the perfect spot to build a homestead, he gets caught trespassing on an old man's property. It's just the first of many hard lessons about the realities of life.
