Homeward Bound

Homeward Bound will explore the history of our countries roads and vehicles that travel these roads. Be prepared to be surprised about our vehicular history and how far we have come "down the road".

You will see both famous and infamous roads, expressways, and favorite roads traveled for fun and work. 

The author will share his travel experiences with his family and friends beginning with his teenage years and then through his time in the military, post military in his civilian careers, the numerous trips made with his seventeen children, grand, and great grand children as they traveled the country to attend sporting events for their schools and community teams. 

Finally, there will be a review of vacation trips to the various part of the country including Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee, Nevada, Arizona, North and South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, North Dakota, and Florida visiting family and friends while traveling well known routes throughout the country. 

Finally, we will review the Navy Reunions to Jacksonville, Florida, Branson, Missouri, Virginia Beach, Va., and Charleston, South Carolina.
