The whole history of humanity can be summed up in three words: civilization, colonization, extermination. Let's take a look at our biological evolution and our species history.

The human species took millions of years to evolve. For most of that time, we were hunter-gatherers without language. And then suddenly in just a few moments, we became something different. Historians would say we became civilized. "A civilized society or country has a well-developed system of government, culture, and way of life and that treats the people who live there fairly: A fair justice system is a fundamental part of a civilized society." Is that what we became... civilized?
