House of Ashes

The supernatural thriller House of Ashes is a sequel to Margaret Blythe's first book, House of Lies.

Revisit the characters Nora Granger and her brother Adam, who come to Portland, Maine, to settle a score with Ellene, a demon plotting to destroy the town by making everyone bow to her wishes.

When Nora and Adam encounter Ellene, they make plans to try to stop her, as well as Ellene's niece Donna.

Nora and Adam are star adventurers trying to make a name for themselves. They use their skills as a chemist and a private investigator to unravel the mystery of how and why the Granger house burnt down.

In their effort to stop Ellene, they learn that Portland's dead townspeople will also rise up to thwart her efforts.
