"Can you help me figure out how I feel?" is the question posed by a little gnome to the creatures she meets, after having been stuck indoors for so long.

While in The Grove, she discovers how she feels with the help of her new friends. They teach her many lessons, including how your thoughts affect your feelings, why it is important to name your feelings, and how to regulate big feelings. This book also contains several additional lessons.
