Jean Allott taught History, English and Maths in secondary schools across Sheffield as well as becoming Chair of Governors at a local primary school before opening her own tutoring centre in 1998.

Jean was a wife, mum of two, teacher and business woman. She was a voracious reader, with a passion for learning and sharing her knowledge. This book was written during her retirement and is her legacy.
