Howard Pyle's Book of Pirates—Fiction, Fact & Fancy concerning the Buccaneers & Marooners of the Spanish Main (1921) is a beautifully illustrated book about pirates and buccaneers of the Spanish Main written by Howard Pyle, with his own 62 illustrations, including 13 color illustrations. It includes The Ghost of Captain Brand, Tom Chist and the Treasure Box, Jack Ballister's Fortunes, The Ruby of Kishmoor, and other tales.

Although this is a 100-year-old book, the short stories remain an enjoyable read about the world of pirates.
