Shri Jaiprakash Aggarwal was born on August 11, 1953, in Patna, and grew up in Bhagalpur. He studied Electrical Engineering at Bhagalpur University and graduated in 1978. Even though he was an engineer, he always loved poetry.
He enjoys reading poems by Raghuveer Sahay, Muktibodh, Gulzar, and Dushyant Kumar. Right now, he works as an independent consultant.
His first book of poetry is called "Hamari Jeevan Yatra" (Our Life Journey).
