Humble Task

At 16 brave Julie leaves her toxic family situation for a new life and the opportunity to attend college. Her boyfriend and her granddad encourage her to seek the goal of a nursing degree. A kind and generous family hires Julie to be their nanny. They help her achieve her dream. Julie learns to love herself and care for others.

As a nurse in her community hospital, Julie meets Aaron, a veterinarian, after a horse kicks him. Their attraction to each other pushes them headlong into an exciting conflicted relationship. They love each other. Their goals of health care for people as well as animals bring them to the life they wish to share.
