Hunt for the Last Wizard

In Book Two, 'Hunt for the Last Wizard', Daniel discovers the Great Forest, and the darklings and wolflings within it, are not the only dangers in Novarmere.

"Faster and faster the walls spun, the vine pattern seeming to twist itself into a knot. The floor remained fixed, but the sensation of the walls spinning was still disturbing. Then, in one pulsing bolt of light, so blinding that they all closed their eyes, there was a trembling through the floor, then blackness and silence.
'Are we all here and alive?' Daniel whispered."

Daniel is stuck in the magical land of Novarmere and his only way home, the wizard Poe, has been kidnapped. In an act of betrayal that shocked the Princess Rishana, her pet gargon (half dragon, half gargoyle) stole off with Poe and took him north, to the Eye of the Mountain. Their only hope of finding him is the magical link Poe created with Daniel when they first met and the word of the evil wizard, Rullin.
Daniel must find Poe. Because if he can't find the wizard, or arrives too late to save him, Daniel will be trapped in Novarmere forever. To rescue Poe, Daniel and his friends must face goblin attacks, the Glass Sea with its hidden dangers, and magical chambers that can instantly transport them hundreds of kilometres.
