Loria Penn has always followed orders, even when they chafed. But when her superiors at the Network order her to abandon a missing boy, it's a hard pass. The boy is a liability, infected with a mutant strain of the immortality parasite, but that's no excuse for the Network's inaction. To find the boy, and the rogue Immortal who took him, Loria must partner with Simon, an outcast from the Network and member of a rival organization.
