The same looming words dress uncut stone in bright red time and again-a message alerting authorities the unknown cult is far from done. The campus of Duke University is plagued by these serial killers who have kidnapped, dismembered, and arranged eight girls on an altar as a sacrifice to God.

Detective Jocelyn Maddox landed the case a year ago, yet no new leads have come to light. Despite the warnings around campus, a law student named Charlotte Scott leaves her friends in a coffee shop and disappears into the night. Now a ninth victim's life hangs in the balance as the fear of another failure looms in Jocelyn's heart.

Breakout Christian author, Bethany Sustaric is a self-proclaimed recovering hot mess and has lived the testimony of a prodigal who's returned home.
