I Am Poetry

Author Patricia Gilchrist approaches her poetry with a spirit of love, joy, and compassion. Inspired from within, her verses incorporate her love for God, her family, and humanity and her drive for evangelism. Through these poems, intended for both reading and reciting out loud, Gilchrist seeks to uplift, encourage, exhort, and empower others spiritually and physically. Most of all, she hopes that they will acknowledge the Lord God Almighty, our Creator, as the giver of every good and perfect gift; come into the knowledge of truth; and be saved by accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior. This collection of poetry offers a series of verses interspersed with Bible verses designed to uplift others in their faith. It's Raining I hear the rain splattering on my windowpane, Making my heart glad as I lie in bed With pleasant thoughts dancing in my head. It's soothing to my soul to wake up And hear the refreshing sound Of raindrops falling to the ground. It's raining!
