A beautiful sixteen year-old girl ran through the war torn, darkened streets of Karlsruhe, Germany. Ida had missed the city's imposed curfew. She held her coat tightly from the cold as she rounded the last corner. Ida was startled by a soldier who suddenly stepped out from the dark. The soldier's eyes roamed up and down her slender young body. He grabbed her and pulled her towards the cold, dark alley. Ida's life was forever changed.
