Fall, 1997 Michelle is freshly divorced and grieving the loss of her mother. Packing in her high-powered advertising job in Seattle for a few months, she runs her parents' beloved inn in Vermont just until her little sister can graduate and take it over. Cliff is a single father to two rambunctious girls and runs the most popular bakery in town. As the inn flounders under Michelle's lack of experience, he offers to lend a hand.
