Just as I was a negotiator of the night --a verse by Anne Carson-- tells a love story between two people from two different worlds: the real world, perhaps ours, and the mythical world of Nonú, which we already know from previous installments by the author. Cultural differences generate a series of dynamics of violence between its protagonists: motherhood, environmentalism and the creation of a whole mythology around Nonú configure the structure of the poem collection, which is presented as a modernization of the epic genre and the romance.
