God has revealed Himself in the Word of God as well as in the world around us. And that is what makes the book of Exodus so amazing; that God has revealed heavens and the coming savior, Christ Jesus, through the deliverance of the Israelites from bondage in Egypt; through the crossing of the Red Sea; through the feeding with manna; and through the construction of the tabernacle. All of the Bible speaks of and points to Christ Jesus and especially so in the book of Exodus.

The book of Exodus, along with the books of Numbers, Leviticus, Deuteronomy, and Joshua give the full view of God's care for a people He wanted to use as an example of His power. And so it was with this purpose that I set out to illuminate what God has already revealed. And in so doing I tried not to be too technical, but at the same time provide enough information for the reader to grasp what is at stake for their eternal state.
