Then, the pilgrimage to identify who you are created to be begins. Everything and everybody is different on “the farm.” While learning, you start comparing your talons to their chicken feet, your walk to their strut. Before you know it, their views become your own and you’re in a tailspin of confusion about who and what you are.

Jesus spoke to the multitude in a parable and interpreted them alone to his disciples. His parables were generally short and to the point, but deep and insightful. This book is a parable for adults. All the animals on the farm represent people in our lives—the jack-asses, turkeys, snakes, and wolves in sheep’s clothing. They are all on the farm that Goldie, the bald eagle, grew up on, where she is raised as a chicken, not the eagle she is. She needed to discover who she was born to be.  

Sometimes we must leave all we know for all we don’t in order to gain answers and insights.
