I'm Not Angry, I'm Bitter is a short collection of poetic outbursts from a young, black woman in love, purging her frustrations after years of seeing and experiencing the trauma and drama of living in a crazed society. Her expressions of bitterness likewise stem from losing her true love in death and having to make a life without him. The compilation includes twenty-nine original poems along with approximately fifteen pages excerpted from an upcoming memoir, poignantly revealing the development of an alluring relationship and its subsequent finale.
