Artist Peter Coffin began his work with the iconic designs of LAs Colby Poster Printing Company in 2008. Over the years, he solicited artists and friends to contribute their dream concertsinvented lineups for impossible gigsand combined them with the colorful poster backgrounds. This effort resulted in 2017s Imaginary Concerts, a collaborative monograph depicting show posters curated from the lineups of more than 75 contributors. The result was a stirring celebration of musics vast conceptual universe.Coffins roster of concert daydreamers includes Yoko Ono, Sasha Frere-Jones, Lydia Lunch, Quasimoto and many more.
