This research assessed the climate risk assessment and management in agriculture within Kwande Local Government. Specifically, the study aims to assess climate risks faced by agricultural systems in Kwande local government, explore socio-economic impacts, evaluate existing risk management strategies, and propose innovative adaptation measures for agriculture climate change in Kwande local government. The study was anchored on the Vulnerability theory and Resilience theory. The study adopted survey research method using a questionnaire as data gathering instrument. Sample size of 400 was determined using Taro Yamane's formula out of the estimated population of 461, 979 respondents. The study used the stratified and simple random sampling techniques in selecting respondents for the study. A total of 400 questionnaires were distributed to the chosen respondents, and all of them were successfully retrieved and analyzed using frequency tables and simple percentages. According to the findings, climate change impacts Kwande local government residents, causing risks like rainfall variations, pest infestations, floods, droughts, and extreme temperatures. Effects on agricultural communities.
