Jennie has always lived alone. She avoids conflict, keeps to herself, and despises problems.She particularly despises Nico Accardi, an Italian troublemaker with soft hair, excessively lovely eyes, and grey eyes. Jennie hasn't spoken to Nico much since their friendship ended in childhood, but when a string of unfortunate events led to him being expelled from his home and breaking into hers, he makes her an offer she can't refuse: a makeover as payment for a place to stay.The boy she believed had left her life abruptly sleeps in her bedroom, bringing up memories she had thought she had closed and hidden. The cheeky child next door may have have some secrets of his own. Jennie, though, can't help but notice that as they spend more time together, their shared living space begins to feel more like a home.
