In My Backyard

In My Backyard will reawaken children's fascination with the outdoors by revealing the abundance of wildlife right at their doorstep. Poetic rhymes and watercolour landscapes come together to celebrate the diversity and beauty of nature in the backyards of Ontario, Canada. This book invites children to explore and identify various birds, insects, mammals and plants appearing in nine different yards ranging from suburban gardens to city apartment courtyards.
