In the Lake of the Woods

John Wade is a Vietnam vet, and a man in crisis. He's spent years building a successful political career that's now being derailed by revelations about his past as a soldier in Vietnam. He loses the election and retreats to a small cabin near a Minnesota lake -- from which his wife, Kathy, mysteriously disappears. Was foul play involved or did Kathy simply decide to leave? As John Wade looks for answers he discovers that wars don't necessarily end when governments say they do.
