What will it take to keep the volcanoes from destroying Earth? Will the legendary power of some ancient music be enough?

With the Singer on their side, Ozzie, Freya, Norm and Alexis seem to have the solution that will heal Earth's damaged crust. But maybe not. While new eruptions continue to tear loose planet-wide, the four are forced to become international fugitives, buying more time to find out what is really causing the volcanoes and how to amp up the Singer fast enough to beat the destruction.

They find themselves on separated journeys across thousands of miles, tossing on a ship in a freezing sea, balanced on the lip of a boiling crater. When Ozzie's ring turns out to be "defective," that adds another mystery to a problem that already has too many. Dodging their opponents and fighting back as they run, aided by surprising allies with some startling capabilities, the four race to find more answers. Until there's only one answer left.
