In the World of the Church

Paul Edokimov (1901-1970) was a professor and lay theologian of the Orthodox Church in France. In his many roles, he served as a bridge between the traditions of the Eastern Church and the churches of the West. This volume brings together many subjects that Edokimov cared about - faith and culture; the spiritual life; liturgy; eschatology; and freedom and authority - under the general theme of the struggle for faith in our times.
