Indian Winter

On a struggling Montana ranch in 1970, 14-year-old Winona dreams of escape from the cruelty of her stepfather and the narrowness of her surroundings. Increasingly aware of the entrenched bigotry of most of her family and community, she finds herself attracted to Bell, a Native American.
