Indian Women Autobiographies

The present book focuses on the works of women autobiographies covering a century and a half. It includes the works of Indian women autobiographers namely Laxmibai Tilak, Shaukat Kaifi, Durga Khote, Amrita Pritam, Leila Seth and Kamala Das. All these women have attained a social standing in the society.They challenged the patriarchal set up and make their own identity in their respective professions.
