Insulin therapy in diabetic children

The management of type 1 diabetes in children is complex and multidisciplinary, aiming to maintain normal blood glucose levels while enabling growth and an active life similar to those of non-diabetic children. Insulin analogues play an essential role in this management by mimicking natural insulin secretion. This multi-center study aims to assess the impact of insulin analogues in children with T1DM, examining epidemiological, therapeutic and evolutionary aspects.
