Intercepted

The McLean's are a farming family in Central North Carolina who believe in family, football and a deep faith in God that transcends every aspect of their lives; all of them, that is, except for their youngest son, Veeder. Intercepted captures the coming-of-age story of a young man making his way in the world. The highs, the lows, the crossroads, and the moments when he has to face the reality of a broken world and decide whether or not he is willing to accept the love of God. Jesus is with Veeder in every moment of his life, while walking on mountaintops as he basks in his rising fame as a star quarterback as well as when he must walk through the valley of darkness in the most challenging times of his life. It is never Jesus who fails to be present, it is Veeder who is unwilling to accept God's love until one fateful day when a promise to Veeder's grandmother is fulfilled.
