Invitation to Psychodynamic Psychology

This text sets out to cover what other texts often assume the reader already knows. It is aimed at the newcomer to the subject, introducing the basic assumptions and concepts of psychodynamic psychology. Since the term "psychodynamic" can be applied to a number of schools of thought, the book stresses the commonalities across the various schools rather than exposing in detail the differences between them. No prior knowledge of dynamics is assumed.
