Is God Really Like That?

After reading Is God Really Like That? you will know the reason for the contradiction in the following two Bible texts: Ezekiel 20:25,26 ..."gave them statutes that were no good and ordinances by which they could not have life, and I defiled them through their very gifts in making them offer by fire all their first born, that I might horrify them; I did it that they might know that I am the Lord." Jeremiah 32:35 [Israel & Judah] built high places of Baal in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to offer up their sons and daughters to Molech, though I did not command them, nor did it enter my mind, that they should do this abomination."
