Ginny has never been able to forget the night when she was eighteen years old and an intruder broke into her home and sexually assaulted her at knife point.



Even now, forty-two years on, she still has trouble sleeping at night, and the incident has had devastating repercussions not least of which was the toll it took on her subsequent marriage.



But there are also other things on her mind, like finding out who is sending her anonymous gifts. They seemed to be harmless little trinkets at first, but theyve started to indicate that the sender has an intimate knowledge of her.



Now, the lives of people closest to her are being threatened, and shes wondering if the presents arent from a secret admirer after all, but a sinister link to the intruder.
