The EEO investigator's comments throughout her letter dismissing my charge clearly showed that she only focused on information that would lead to dismissing my charge and protecting the respondent at any cost, even her reputation as a competent and objective EEO investigator. In my opinion, the most severe lack of impartiality on the part of the investigator came when she requested rebuttal evidence from me, but she refused to use any of the evidence that I sent her because my documented evidence proved that most of what she had written to dismiss my charge was false. Reconsider means to reevaluate, especially with a view to change of decision or action, not reinvestigate and uphold, but the district EEOC director defined it as an opportunity for the agency to secure and evaluate additional evidence regarding my claims and the employer's defenses even though the employer's initial defenses were false and my defenses supported a determination in my favor.
