In the sequel to We Hate Everything But Boys, Linda struggles to let go of her crush when she starts at an all-girls schooluntil her new friends help her discover how much fun the older boys can be. When Linda enters high school and her parents make her go to Huntington, she is certain that the all-girls school is full of nothing but really brainy kids. At first, she was certain switching schools was a horrible idea. While Linda was at Huntington, she was certain that Sue-Ann was putting the moves on her own crush, Jeff, in the halls of P.S. 515. But when Linda starts to make friends with Jan and begins hanging out with her crew, the group of girls discover the fun of older boys together. With her eyes now set on bad boy Mark, Linda can barely remember who Jeff is.
