In his second book, It's My Write, published and featured writer Cedrik Wallace picks up right from where he left off in Why I Cry Burgundy Tears, surviving cancer! The first poem sets things up with a clear message to his readers and it carries the same title as the book. He makes it known that it is his right to write about whatever he wants and how he wants. In this collection of thoughts and poetic writings, he goes on to express his views and experiences on topics such as fighting life battles, death, relationships, the work place, education, politics, social issues, self-love, and being black in America.
