For too long minorities in the United States have placed their fate in the hands of politicians, educators, doctors, and even celebrities, hoping that through their actions, our lives would improve. No one can help you but you, these individuals don not have your interest at heart, they care about themselves. Parents have a direct responsibility to raise their children and to be their champion, when they cannot do it for themselves.
