Jeremiah is seen as a prophet of judgment and doom. He understood the

hard times befalling Judah were the result of people breaking the covenant

with God. But Jeremiah was also a prophet of hope for those who believed

God had not forsaken them, even when they were forced into exile. Jeremiah

knew that the relationship with God could be restored.

Gene March introduces us to six themes that explore the difficult times and

the critical message of this prophet for God. This volume includes material

for participants and a Group Gathering guide for leading all six sessions.

their main themes. Each volume consists of six chapters that present major

biblical themes; each chapter contains three sections:

• An explanation of the theme

• The significance of the biblical theme for the life of faith

• Implications this biblical theme offers the church for its ministry
