Jimmy's Home is a soul-searching look at one couple's journey from young romance to marriage and raising a family. In addition to parenting their three children, Liz and Rand Markham take a needy foster boy into their happy home. Liz wants to adopt the boy and make him their second son, but Rand is absolutely opposed to the idea and refuses to even consider it. As they work through the adoption decision and its implications on everyone involved, the events of their daily life unfold and they are forced to address and resolve various personal issues through four difficult seasons.
