Jonah Abbott is devastated when his girlfriend dies from a drug overdose. Anger and bitterness motivate him as he prowls the streets as an undercover cop. His life takes a drastic turn when he arrests an attractive resident of a low-income neighborhood.

To her parents' dismay, Katy Wilson chooses to live in the neighborhood where she serves as a private social worker. In her attempt to free young people of their drug habits, she has made a few enemies in the community-enemies who want her dead.

Despite the circumstances under which they met, Katy can't deny the sizzling chemistry between them. She agrees to work with Jonah to undercover the plot against her, and he is determined to find the persons who want her out of their neighborhood. Will Katy let the bad guys win, or will she bravely stand against their threats and harassment?
